Discourage patient CT for pointlessly questioning the motives of others. / Remind patient CT that hypocrisy is rampant and that it is futile to rail against it. / Patient laments the negative consequences of some widely held beliefs and traditions. / Patient seems to long for a life where seasonal change is built into their DNA. / Patient is well aware of the inability of others to see beyond their own interests. / Like many patient has difficulty understanding why others can’t see what’s perfectly obvious to us. / Philosophical issues tend to take a back seat in the highly utilitarian world view of natural wonders. / For those accustomed to natural silence it takes little to seriously perturb. / Help patient work through contradictory messages related to their holiday role. / Talk patient though despondency associated with uncertainty about expectations.
