Refrain from tampering with patient CTD’s devil-may-care approach to job. / Patient CTD displays a healthy attitude towards the inevitable / unchangeable. / Remind patient CTD that it is not productive to ruminate on the unknowable. / Assure patient CTD that their good works without doubt result in worthwhile findings. / Help patient cope with rising levels of occupation related frustration. / Discourage patient from wallowing in feelings of resentment. / Perhaps disingenuously patient argues for the usefulness of brainlessness. / Patient makes an argument that is somehow rational, coherent and even intelligent. / Assure patient that vocational difficulties experienced are not unique to them. / Patient takes job performance to heart perhaps to an unhealthy degree.
