Patient LC appears to be well aware of associated costs. / Patient attempts to dissect the calculations related to observed conduct. / Suggest to patient L that they may be making too much of a simple semantic issue. / Patient looks for likely nonexistent correlations within connotations. / Patient continues to look for ways in which to deflect culpability. / Patient attempts to use unrelated facts to mitigate their own obvious culpability. / Probe more fully patient’s experience and insights into our tendency to live in denial. / Examine patient’s shifting existence moving at other’s will from one dimension to others / Examine more closely patient’s apparent prejudice toward one side of the misbehaving pair. / Ask patient to delineate carefully evidence relating to illicit behavior and criminal activity.
