Review with patient LT’s strategies for coping with failure. / Patient LT’s preparation for negativity play a prominent role in their state of being. / In a continuing and somehow worrisome trend patient LT continues to question their very existence. / Remind patient LT that rules of one game cannot necessarily be applied to another game. / Patient seems quite content in likening self to pessimistic world view. / Patient takes some umbrage at being characterized in a self-righteous, moralistic manner. / Investigate the extent to which patient empathizes with the marks in whose hands they end up. / Patient recognizes the problems and issues associated with playing on the sympathy of others. / Patient clearly empathizes with those who can’t help but put their faith in them. / Patient expresses a clear awareness of the role played in the manipulation of feelings.
