Help patient MBN work through barrage of second thoughts. / Use regret remittance strategies with patient MBN. / Patient MN’s intractable approach to his situation requires continued vigilance. / Ease patient MN into a less rigid adherence to a misplaced sense of urgency. / Attempt to determine if patient has even heard of the topic under discussion. / Still having trouble eliminating certain areas to be examined more closely. / Patient apparently assumes too much about the problems and pitfalls of making assumptions. / Patient appears to be confounding assumption and rationalization. / Assist patient in adjusting to the fact that culturally inculcated aspirations often don’t live up to the hype. / Patient must widen horizons substantially in order to make further progress. / Begin working through patient’s entire system of values, morals and purpose. / Review with patient their motives and objectives in undertaking current experience.
