Patient Sam C is clearsighted as usual in his views on disagreeable historical facts. / Systemic American racism was as obvious in patient Sam C’s time as it is now. / Remind patient Sam C that reliving old grievances is not the purpose of sessions. / Remind patient San C as well that we don’t tolerate disparaging others especially on purely subjective grounds. / Hard to believe that things are as simple as patient Mark T would suggest. / Try to remember to steer clear in sessions as much as possible of patient Sam C’s pet peeves. / At times it’s best to give patient Sam C space to express strong feelings and opinions. / Tamp down on patient Sam C when his self roiling begins to boil over. / Even in session it’s difficult to pin patient Sam C down on biographical details. / Manifest destiny wasn’t the only motive for western expansion according to patient Sam C.
