Patient seems unaware of own historical and artistic significance; sees own creator in purely mundane, everyday human terms. / Lack of self-consciousness in not considering self an object of reverence is refreshing and endearing, particularly given the reverence engendered over the centuries. / Probe further patient ML’s possible motive for their enigmatic behavior. / Discuss further with patient ML their apparent deliberate manipulation of our reactions.
Note for future consideration: investigate the effect of cracking paint on self image.
