Patient M still having trouble admitting that no one is perfect. / Encourage patient M’s glimmers of positive changes. / Patient M bemoans the natural human reaction to an extended trial and tribulation. / Difficult at this point to determine the accuracy of patient M’s recollections. / Patient M assesses his position in the pantheon of related and associated figures. / Like most of us patient M compares his position favorably to those of others. / Patient M recounts how other duties forced him to abandon the novel he’d undertaken as a youth. / Like most fiction writers patient M went through the process of writing and rewriting. / Explore patient M’s professed skepticism regarding canonized stories and fables further. / Chronicle apocryphal sidelights and footnotes in as much detail as possible as remembered by patient M. / Console patient M in his pointless wishful thinking for things that can never be. / Perhaps it was unwise to introduce patient M to individuals who were not of his own time.
