Review with patient S the literature on the maturation process. / Clarify for patient S the application of instinct to development. / Continue working with patient S with a goal of introspection no matter how unfeasible it may appear to be. / Difficult to refute patient S’s cogent argument against seeing nothing for something. / Patient extrapolates from their own experience to comment on how things are more generally. / Patient suggests that what we think we know may not be as certain as we think it is. / Making progress toward getting patient to be able to conceive of other perspectives. / First thought expressed by patient that shows a hint of self awareness. / Consider incorporating patient’s behavioral insights into study of other species pathologies. / Apply patient’s ideas to analysis of sociopathic and other anti-social tendencies and behaviors.
