Patient S appears to want to be judged by the company they keep. / Patient S’s experience has taught that there is more beneath the surface than meets the eye. / Much difficulty in getting patient to lighten up on their intense yet lackluster attitude toward work. / Like many patient S finds it easier to keep going than to get going. / I’m afraid I have little to offer patient S in contemplation of the great imponderables. / Help patient explore the interaction and intersection of the objective and the subjective. / Applying literary devices to every day life can be a real distraction from those things that have to be done. / Many of us practice armchair psychology even while engaged in our every day endeavors. / Patient experiences feelings not unfamiliar to the rest of us though perhaps with greater frequency. / Reassure patient that their experience isn’t radically different from many others.
