Excerpts from Therapy Dog’s Sessions Notes:
Some people deal well with all the bumps in the road; some don’t. Patient’s need to prove himself “road worthy” is mitigated by an unresolved fear of friction that manifests in such ways as a contempt for hubcaps and a longing for lug nuts. Must determine if relationship with jack is truly symbiotic or if this is a classic case of “mama’s boy” syndrome – jack is mum on the subject. Perhaps adolescent snow tire bullying in the factory or a frightening early experience with a tractor tire is an underlying cause of a strong need to tread carefully when disparaging peers. Inordinately vain about pristine tread condition.
Note to self: Review case studies in literature of mobsters locked in trunks and resulting psychological trauma (in survivors).
